Florida Baptist Childrens Home Decorated for Christmas

In honor of #GivingTuesday we share the following story.

Professional Pavement Products lends some hands

Professional Pavement Products company purpose is to “Build a great company for an even greater cause.”  Our list of core values include Honor, Impact, Grow and Serve our God, our employees, our customers, our vendors and our communities.

We had the opportunity to put these values to task recently. Several of the Jacksonville employees and their families joined to honor and serve a local children’s institution, the Florida Baptist Children’s Home. They spent their Saturday morning decorating the campus for the upcoming Christmas season. “Today was more of a blessing to us than it was to the children” says Debbie Driskell.

Professional Pavement Product’s President and Founders Greg and Debbie Driskell have supported the home for nearly a decade. Greg Driskell remarked, “It is a beautiful campus, made up of beautiful children and the caring house and foster parents that love them.” “We truly believe in their mission to provide Christ-centered services to children and families in need.”

The Children’s home opened their first orphanage in 1904 and to present-day their ministries have expanded to provide safe, stable, Christian homes and services to children and families in need across the state and around the globe. Their Jacksonville campus known as the Baptist Home for Children opened their doors back in 1926 and has helped a lot of boys and girls at a time in their lives when they were most in need.
